Melissa & Dave - Adventures at Sea

Princess Melissa sleeps her way to a new location

Melissa was worried that with little sleep at anchor Dave might not be able to do the whole overnighter last night solo.  So at 3pm yesterday she headed to bed to try and catch a few hours of sleep in case Dave needed her to do a shift.  But the route had a number of turns, the weather wasn’t great – there were a few squalls that threatened.  So Dave just let Melissa snooze till this morning.

At 6am we pulled into the anchorage.  It was a bit freaky though because the depth would go suddenly from 70 feet to 20 feet in a very short distance.  We set the anchor and Dave told Melissa to watch our depth and if it hit 10 feet to come wake him.  Fortunately it never got below 25 feet.

We headed into town for lunch, and then hung out on the boats for dinner as everyone was ready for an early bedtime.
