Last night before going to bed, Melissa pulled a muscle in her back. When she got up this morning she didn’t feel much like getting underway. So when Wanuskewin pulled out of the bay headed for the Tortuga Islands we told them we would follow them over tomorrow since it’s less than a two hour hop away. We hung out on the boat getting a number of internet research, email, and business letters done.
For dinner we headed into Marlena’s restaurant – the great pizza joint we’ve been eating at here in the bay. We told the chef, Maurizio, to make us whatever he felt like making that was good. His reply was that the pizza was the best thing. So he made us some pasta with shrimp and garlic as well as another small pizza. Then he joined us and we ended up yacking for an hour about all manner of things from politics, to global warming. We exchanged contact info – would be fun to see him in his home in Italy someday.
