Today we just hung out at anchor. We had planned to head up the river estuary to a restaurant recommended by some of the local guys at the beach restaurant where we ate lunch. But a huge squall came through the bay nixing that plan. It blew 30 knots and the waves kicked up. A Costa Rican Coast Guard ship pulled in and we joked that it was too crappy to be out even for them.
After the squall blew through we invited La Gitana and Wanuskewin aboard to watch an episode of Tales of the Gold Monkey. It was an 1982 TV adventure series patterned after Raiders of the Lost Ark. Its unbelievably cheesy but totally fun.
