Today we went into the beach to the Tambor Tropical hotel for breakfast and for a conference call with our financial guy back home – who has the patience of a saint with us being in a third world country without good communications. Then we headed back to the boat, and it was hotter than heck so we jumped off and went swimming. Melissa tried to scrub the poor abused dingy clean. Then it was off to pizza with the gang – Josh who joined us from Tamarindo, along with Wanuskewin.
During the night the wind kicked up as a small storm cell blew through. The lightning all around was spectacular. Things banging around on deck woke us up. Dave had to tie the dingy down tighter, and secure one of the canvas panels for the cockpit cover. But in the morning Wanuskewin identified what the likely source of the mysterious noises. Look carefully on the top of the arch - that's a big pelican!
